Let's get Lacrosse into Dekalb County Schools.

Lacrosse is second leading college scholarship opportunities, behind swimming in USA.

"Lacrosse is also the fastest-growing sport over the last six years at the NCAA level, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are more than 500 college club programs, including nearly 200 women's teams that compete at the US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates level."

The first step is to start a club league. We need boys, ages 14 and up, interested in learning and playing Lacrosse.  Parental support will be very important and needed.

Statistics according to the AJC & GHSA (Ga. High School):
In 1999 there were (in Ga. Schools) 7 boys teams, 6 girls teams (includes club teams until 2004, when GHSA sanctioned the sport. In 2008 there is  46 boys, 48 girls teams

Decatur High, a small school was able to make the playoffs its first 2 years

Decatur's success has inspired other schools, notable Grady High which was sanctioned by GHSA in 2007, after one year as a club team.

Gwinnett County is currently in the process of establishing the sport in its school system, Dekalb Cty will be the one high-profile system left that has not embraced the sport
